Mixnet is an internet service provider running its own autonomous system number, IP resources and BGP routing infrastructure. Customer traffic is carried over the network we operate ourselves.

The access method (fibre, Metro Ethernet or radio link) is chosen to suit each site; the backbone and its operation always stay with Mixnet.

Capabilities

What we do

Enterprise internet

Dedicated, symmetrical capacity; static IPv4 blocks and native IPv6.

Metro Ethernet

Layer 2 point-to-point and multipoint circuits between sites within a city.

IP transit and BGP

Full table or default route; prefix filtering based on IRR and RPKI.

Radio link

Point-to-point wireless links for sites fibre does not reach, or where a backup path is needed.

Open peering

Open peering policy; PeeringDB and IRR records are kept up to date.

NOC

Direct access to the engineers who run the network, and round-the-clock monitoring.

Architecture

Our own backbone, our own routing.

Your sites connect to the Mixnet core over different access technologies; traffic reaches the internet through AS204647 via transit and peering links.

Mixnet · AS204647

Fibre from your building to the Mixnet core.

The device in your building connects over underground fibre to the core in Mixnet’s POP. The core sends traffic out by the best route for its destination: over peering to networks we connect with directly, and over IP transit to the rest.
